eBook Review: How To Manage Your Online Reputation

Social media monitoring is a hot topic and a must-do. Or maybe it’s a hot topic because it’s a must-do? Either way, there’s no denying, that’s what it is!

When it comes to social media monitoring, the biggest questions on everyone’s mind seem to be:

  • Will free tools be sufficient for my brand?
  • What tools will work best for my particular needs?
  • How do I use them?

I recently read an eBook titled “How To Manage Your Online Reputation“, written by a colleague and friend of mine, Morgan Barnhart of Sociable Boost, and this short read did a great job at answering all of these questions! Plus, within this eBook, Morgan gives tips and advice on how to actually monitor your online reputation, as well as some great time management tips.

So I decided to share this ebook with you!

There were even a few tools within this eBook that I didn’t know about myself (and, yes, you can expect that I’ll be testing them out and coming right back here to provide you with my thoughts, observations and recommendations!).

Who is this eBook written for?

If you’re a small to medium sized business who is:

  • Unsure of how to begin monitoring your brand’s online reputation
  • Looking for the right free monitoring tools that will meet your company’s needs and requirements
  • Confused with all the monitoring tools out there and don’t know where to begin

Then this ebook will give you a good start at helping you find your way!

It’s not a big time commitment (or expense) in terms of reading – Morgan stays to the point and gets her message out in no more than 19 pages – but it will require you taking the time to choose a couple of the tools that she highlights, decide which ones speak most to you and your needs, create an account and start testing them out. But hey, you should be doing that anyway!

Message from Morgan:

“Everyone I talk to either doesn’t know what monitoring their presence is, or they don’t know how to go about it, or maybe they’ve heard about it and understand how to do it but don’t understand the purpose behind it, or how easy it really is to monitor your online presence. These days, anyone and everyone can talk about you and your business online without you even knowing about it. So by using the tools and tips provided in this eBook, my hope is that people will be able to realize how truly easy, effective & quick it can be.”

So if you’re looking for a way to sort through all of the numerous free monitoring tools available to you, then I suggest you read Morgan’s ebook. It’s a quick read with some great suggestions that will help get you going!
