    Hey Melissa!

    Great tips! I think it’s interesting that brands truly believe that ignoring the situation is the best thing to do. Time and time again we see this happening with brands, both online and off, and it just makes people madder, like you said.

    Loooove that you said to respond with a personalized message. :) You’re allowed to be human! Darn right!

      Hi Morgan,

      Brands make such decisions simply out of a lack of true understanding and fear. They don’t know how to respond and don’t understand the repercussions for not responding. It’s hard for many to adapt to the new rules that social media brings to the table. That’s why watching a simple video such as this can go a long way in helping an organization overcome such a scenario.

      We ARE allowed to be human and many people don’t realize this! In the past it was all about being corporate. Today, people want to see the humans behind the brand and connect with THEM. It’s much more fun isn’t it!!
